The Photographer
What started as an admiration for photography from observation quickly grew into something more. My mom was ALWAYS taking photos of me and my siblings growing up and I loved being in front of the camera. Over time, that love naturally shifted into wanting to be the one behind it, capturing moments for anyone who would let me.
As a high school senior with big dreams and little to no experience, I picked up my mom's camera and began learning as I went, unknowingly starting a journey that would shape so much of my life.
Nearly 6 years later and I'm still learning, still evolving, and finding new inspiration and ideas with everywhere I look. I couldn't be more thankful for the growth, trust, and the journey this path has taken me on that all began in my hometown, hence the name.
This journey has introduced me to incredible people, meaningful moments, and the opportunity to capture memories that can be looked back on for years to come, and that is something I will never take lightly.

I LOVE having my own photos taken, if there is a photo op, just know I am booking it!
I am recently ENGAGED!! I have been with Blaine for almost 7 years, and he is a familiar face you will see from time to time. I truly cannot brag on him enough, he has been with me since I started up HPP and has been my biggest supporter when it comes to chasing my dreams. From building set ups, hyping me up, and helping me build my business from the ground up nearly 2 times now, it is hard not to love him!
I graduated in December of 2024 with my Bachelor of Science Degree and have recently been accepted into Murray State's Masters Program for School Counseling for Fall of 2026!! A fun fact about me is I felt a calling my senior year to complete a life long goal of mine to be a collegiate cheerleader and ended out my cheer career in 2025!! GO RACERS!
Milo as you can see in various photos is my 5 year old Goldendoodle, he is my world. He is SUCH a momma's boy - the Valentine's Day photo is my all time favorite no matter how rough I look. 9 times out of 10 I am using him for promo photos, he is just too dang cute!!
I am very BIG into traveling in my free time, it is one of my favorite things to do. I feel so inspired and refreshed for photoshoots with each new place I go, mentally preparing ideas to bring into fruition. The past few years, I have been to Hawaii, Florida, Las Vegas, and Charleston. Among all the places I have been to, Charleston has been my favorite.
In 2025, Blaine and I made the big move to Lexington as he just got into University of Kentucky's Dental School program and we are so excited and ready for what God has in place for us. I am so excited to begin building clientele in Lexington + the surrounding areas! This career has allowed me to go so many places!
One thing I am looking forward to for 2026 is building clientele down here in Lexington, and building my faith, and seeing where God wants me to go next.
